Tips and Guidelines for Submissions and Asks
I’ve found that my queue only runs smoothly when I limit the amount of photos in it to below 35. Any more than that, and the queue starts to spazz out.
I do, however, have folders full of images. These folders contain 1000+ images I add to the queue on a daily basis.
The queue will post 12 images a day.
If you submit a link to a photostream, it might take up to 2 months/8 Weeks for the images I select to get published. If you submit a photostream link to me, I will find images from that photostream to submit, so keep watch for them.
If you submit a link to a single picture, I will immediately put that image in the queue. It might take up to 4 days for that image to show up on your dash, but unless I deem the image inappropriate (see below), it will show up, even if it takes some time.
If you submit a picture, please make sure to include the link to the original photo on flickr. This will also take up to 3 days to show up on your dash. THIS IS THE EASIEST WAY TO PUBLISH SUBMISSIONS.

So what makes me decide to publish an image I myself have stumbled across?
Does the photo…
-Show the artists understanding of how to work a camera?
-Show the artists understanding of how to manipulate the camera in order to create unique lighting, colors, etc.?
-Is the subject unique or interesting?
-Is there an obvious understanding of composition?
-Is the editing tasteful? I try to post images that are representations of the artists photography work, not the artists photoshop work.
-Do I think my followers would enjoy this image?
Those are just some of the things I consider when I pick out an image while I’m mucking about on tumblr.
I also try to…
-Pick subjects that are diverse and represent peoples from all over the world.
-Pick photographs that have been created from a variety of artists from many diverse cultures.
I know that my followers are a very diverse group, and I really want to appeal to all of you.
And remember, if you ever have a problem with this tumblr, there are two things you can do:
1. Unfollow.
2. Submit links to photostreams or images you’d like to see posted.
I highly encourage the latter, of course.

Lastly, here’s a guideline on anything else besides photos and complaints you might put in my box.
Things that are okay to submit/ask:
-Telling me your opinion on this tumblr
-Suggesting photography tumblrs
-Asking me photography questions
-Questions about camera’s and technique (if I can’t answer it, I’ll publish the question and see if a follower can)
THINGS THAT ARE NOT OKAY TO PUT IN MY ASK/SUBMIT:
-Asking me to follow you if you’re not a tumblr that posts mostly flickr photography
-Asking me to get you more followers
